Vanessa Rousso to become the newest Go Daddy girl
The newest Go Daddy girl, publicly announced today, comes from the card world – not car world.
Her name is Vanessa Rousso who is a professional in poker game.
The deal has been made just before the tomorrow’s start of the 5th Annual National Heads-Up Poker Championship in Las Vegas where Rousso is likely to play the first fiddle with Go Daddy company being both the official sponsor of the tournament and the sponsor of NBCs live coverage of the event which is also engaged in airing on six Sundays in a row from April.
Vanessa Rousso, also known as the poker’s Lady Maverick and her maverick counterpart in the world of Internet Go Daddy will make a prime pairing.
According to the founder and CEO of Go Daddy Bob Parsons, Vanessa is a smart type with aggressive playing style. Parsons also added a few words about Vanessa’s educational background with her economics degree from Duke and her current efforts to get a law degree at the University of Miami. He further underlined that similar to Go Daddy Girl Danica Patrick, Vanessa was very successful in competing with men in poker and that she was definitely Go Daddy type of girl.
Vanessa Rousso has managed to become one of the top female earners on the poker tour with her last spring first prize in NBCs Poker After Dark tournament.
Commenting on her poker talent, Vanessa said that Poker was her passion spurred by her interest in economics. Speaking about Go Daddy, Rousso described it as an absolutely dominant company in a range of Internet categories with a reputation of possessing cute and aggressive style which totally suited her.
The interest for poker has boomed in recent years mainly due to Internet gaming expansion. The poker experts say that about 70 million of people in America play poker as part of their recreation time. Moreover, as per the November 2008 CBS 60 Minutes report, approximately half a million gamers are playing online poker every second.
Apart from Vanessa Rousso there will be some other famous names at the Go Daddy table such as Go Daddy Girl and IndyCar Series most popular driver Danica Patrick, the pioneer Go Daddy Girl Candice Michelle as well as NASCARs most popular driver and simultaneously Go Daddy spokesman, Dale Earnhardt, Jr.
According to Bob Parsons all the above people involved are permanent risk-takers including himself.
